CAES Energy Policy Institute to host virtual discussion on National Environmental Policy Act

The National Environmental Policy Act is the focus of the next installment of the virtual Power Talks series hosted by the CAES Energy Policy Institute at Boise State University. The event is set for 11:30 am Wednesday and features University of Wyoming's Temple Stoellinger.

Temple Stoellinger is an assistant professor at the University of Wyoming where she has a dual appointment with the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources, and the College of Law, where she is the Co-Director of the Center for Law and Energy Resources in the Rockies. Before joining the University of Wyoming, Temple served as the natural resource attorney for the Wyoming County Commissioners Association (WCCA). Stoellinger also has worked for Shell, International B.V., and as a natural resource analyst and advisor to former Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal.

Power Talks is a discussion series that focuses on current energy issues and opportunities. Hosted virtually by the CAES Energy Policy Institute, based at Boise State University, the series this spring covers aspects of power sector policy change, NEPA regulation, hydropower choices for the Northwest, nuclear power history, and fossil fuel power markets. These events will be held via Zoom, bringing together leading authors, researchers, and technologists with those who are interested in energy to share insights and engage in discussion.
